French editor and director

Born in 1973, Clermont-Ferrand, Pascal Hamant owns a master's in Economy and Management. He worked as a film projectionist in the Utopia network in Avignon. In this cinema, he also works in programming, organizing and moderating debates. During the Avignon Festival, he developed his interest in performing arts. To complete his education, he participated in evening classes at the Ecole nationale supérieure de la Photographie in Arles for five years. In 2013, he was a trainee in filmmaking at Ateliers Varan and directed his first film "Domine". In 2014, he obtained a master degree in creative documentaries in Lussas and directed "De l'autre côté", selected at the Student International Documentary Festival (Fidé) in 2015, in Saint-Ouen. Then, he is a co-founder of the association les Dérushé(e)s which aims to promote cinema: they organized in june 2015, the 8th Bobines Rebelles festival in Creuse. Since 2015, he's working on his first personal film project "Je n'embrasse pas les images", produced by Alter Ego Production, in Orléans.
