Egyptian director

Born in 1982 in Alexandria, Egypt and deceased in 2013, Mahmoud Farag was an independent filmmaker and writer. He got a Bachelor in Arts in Arabic Language and Education from the Al-Azhar University in Cairo in 2005 and in Scriptwriting and cinema studies from the High Cinema Institute in Cairo in 2010. He worked as a director and writer from 2005 to his death and participated in several films and series. Member of the Egyptian Cinema Professions Syndicate, he was also a trainee at Ateliers Varan in 2011 and 2012.
