Vietnamese director
Born in Hanoi, Vietnam in 1974, Doan Hong Lê has been a journalist for TVV Da Nang for 20 years, specialized in Society affairs. After being a trainee in two Varan workshops in Hanoi, Lê decided to become an independent documentary filmmaker in Da Nang, Vietnam. Since 2010, she is the coordinator of two other documentary film workshops by Varan, which have been annually held in Vietnam since 2004.
In 2009, she directed "Who owns the land?" as a trainee at Ateliers Varan.
