Catharine Maria Pinto Pimentel

Born in Recife in 1993, Catharine Pimentel graduated in Cinema from the Federal University of Pernambuco and in Journalism from the Catholic University of Pernambuco. While she was a student, she taught filmmaking to teenagers in the Pernambuco. She participated in filmmaking training at Ateliers Varan in 2016 in Recife. She is now convinced that her project is to teach cinema. Catharine is part of the new wave of women working with sound for films in Pernambuco. Se works mostly as an assistant to sound engineer or as a sound engineer herself in smaller projects.
