Synopsis
In a little village in the Cévennes region of France, the signboards saying “Industry Street” have disappeared, although the mail still arrives at this address. On one side of the road, a “Museum of Popular Arts and Traditions” is being built in what was once an old silk spinning factory, where the workers talk about the way working conditions have changed. On the other side, is a run-down housing estate, where the residents form a poor, heterogeneous community. There is a wall separating the two worlds.
