Lucas Simões graduated in filmmaking at the Federal University of Pernambuco in 2016, he works as an independent filmmaker. He directed and produced the short documentary called "Fragmentos de uma cronologia inerte" which participated in many Brazilian film festivals and won awards at the International University Film Festival in Pernambuco state in 2013 and at the FestCine in 2015. His last project, "Disforia Urbana" won the award for the best school documentary at the FestCine in 2016.
