Director
She studied communication sciences, with a focus on cinema, at FCSH-UNL, Paris 8, and Atelier Varan. She has been working in cinema since 2000 as both a director and an editor. She directed four films for the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation: "Pintura s/ Título", "Short Story", "Percursos Visuais" and "Retratos". She directed "Um dia no museu", a TV series about Art Museums in Portugal. Recently she co-directed two documentaries: "As cidades e as trocas (with Pedro Pinho) and "São tomé: on the track of the naturalists" (with Tiago Hespanha). As a film editor she has worked with several Portuguese directors. She is a partner at Terratreme Filmes, and a co-director and teacher at the Cinema/Image and Movement course at Ar.Co in Lisbon.
