Synopsis
Jawad, now a young man of 34, left Afghanistan as a child and spent most of his life abroad. He is now an engineer and is returning to his country after 33 years of absence. He visits his uncles and aunts in his home village where life has scarcely changed.

Since 2006, more than 30 young Afghan filmmakers took part to the workshops in Kabul. 33 films were made there and initiated the resurgence of documentary films in the country.
